It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Bateman Leeson (Little Current, Ontario), born in Tehkummah, Ontario, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Beryl Leeson; his parents, John Leeson and Florence Leeson; and his siblings, Norma McCulligh (Lloyd), Stewart Leeson (Jane) and Chesley Leeson (Carol).

He is survived by: his children, Kerry Leeson, Dianne Leeson and Lori Lefebvre (Denis); his nephews, Gerald McCulligh (Sharon) and David Leeson (Sue); his great-nephews, Greg McCulligh (Cheryl) and Jason McCulligh; his cousin Ron Ashley; and his close friends, Terri-Lynn Mayhew and Bliss Jardine.
