It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Violet Wemigwans (Little Current, Ontario), who passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Aiabens and Teresa Aiabens; her children, Isabelle, Gladys, Sarah, Melvin, Virginia, Sharon, Vita, Wilfred, Rodrick Jacob, Alexender, Calvin Maryann (Wiikwemkoong), Anita, Anne, Barry (Toronto), Tony and Linda (Orillia); and her brother John.
She is survived by: her siblings, Celina, David (Mosquito), Jonas, Charolette (Wiikwemkoong) and Mabel (Pickering); and her godchild Jean Trudeau. She is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
