She was predeceased by: her brothers-in-law, David Spry and Bernard Spry (Georgina Holmes). She is survived by: her spouse Lee Spry; her children, Leigh Ann Phillips (Bob), Michael Spry (Carrie) and Kevin Spry; her grandchildren, Marshal Spry, Colby Spry, Adam Spry, Erin Spry and Leah Carrick; her siblings-in-law, Stewart Spry (Mary) and Carol Love (late Jack); and her sister Theresa Elliott (Howard). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial donations may be made in honour of Marlene to the Mindemoya Hospital "Let's Emerge Together" Fund or the Mindemoya Hospital Auxiliary.
