It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kal Hunter Debassige (Little Current, Ontario), who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 19, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Kate and Frances; and his grandfather George Corbiere. He is survived by: his parents, Kyle Debassige and Colleen Debassige; his brothers, Kyle Debassige (Diggy) and Kacey Debassige (Elisa); his grandparents, Martin, Justeen Debassige and Elizabeth; his great-grandparent Nancy Hare; his aunts and uncles, Elvis Debassige, Corey Corbiere, Beatrice Debassige, Nancy Debassige, Missy Debassige (Howard) and Yvette Assinewai (Kevin); his cousins, Colin (K. C.), Jarvis (Marley), Patrick (Cassie), Brooke (Xavier), Russell (Mariah), Courtney, Kiearra, Keegan and Kaylee; his nephew Benjamin; and his godparents, Lee Corbiere and Fred Roy.
