He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert George Newman and Harriet Elvina Newman; and his siblings, Ruth Rolton, Gwen Olizarvich (Fred), Marjorie Jones (Stan), Duncan Newman, Neil Newman (Donna) and Mike Newman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dave Newman (Sharen), Roger Newman (Noreen), Marilyn Holcombe (Dave), Pat Newman and Theresa McDowell (Dave); and his children, Terry of Alberta, Glen of Alberta and Brian Newman (Tracey) of Alberta.
