He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ignatius Angus Abel and Margaret Abel (Debassige); his siblings, Stella Robillard, Agnes Warner, Nancy Bain, Nellie Lacombe, Jessie Ann Ryckman, Paul, Marjorie, Sylvester and Eugene Abel; his former wife Sue; his children, Pamela Valdez (Jeremiah) and Charles Abel (Kristy); his grandchildren, Andrew, Jaxon Abel and Reva Abel Valdez; and his siblings, Evelyn Bisschops, Simon Abel and Ursula Abel.
