He was predeceased by: his children, Lisa McMurray of Sudbury, Craig (Renee) of Little Current and Travis; and his siblings, Bev (Sandra) and Art (Marg McMurray).

He is survived by: his wife Joan; his grandchildren, Dustin, Hailey and Morgan; and his siblings, Doug McMurray, Shirley (Lyle Pyette) and Eileen (late Alvin).
