He was predeceased by: his daughter Glenda Abotossaway; his adoptive children, Lori Nahdee and Jamie Ann Abotossaway; and his siblings, Ken Nahwegahbo, Dorothy Lawrence, Loretta Nahwegahbo and Margaret Negannegijig.

He is survived by: his wife Georgina Nahwegahbo; his children, Andrea Nahwegahbo, Sarah Anderson (Cory), Alfie Nahwegahbo, Maureen Nahwegahbo (Chris) and Paula Nahwegahbo (Steve); and his siblings, Joe Nahwegahbo, Henry Nahwegahbo and Barbara Nahwegahbo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
