He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Goodhand and Ada Goodhand; and his siblings-in-law, Art Ritchie (Verla), Mark Brackstone, Jack Wakefield, Delbert Thompson, Charlotte Ritchie and Trudy Bresett (Keith).

He is survived by: his wife Grace Ritchie; his children, Jeff Goodhand (Marilyn), Linda McCutcheon (Bill) and Colleen Sedgwick (David); his grandchildren, Craig Goodhand (Alexandra), Joel Goodhand (Johanna), Colin Goodhand (Laura), Kayla Thibault (Matthew), Lindsay Rodgers, Meredith Sedgwick, Graham Sedgwick and Garrett Sedgwick; his siblings, Alva Wakeford, Mary Thompson, Eva McFaul (Bob) and Ivan Goodhand (Karen); and his sister-in-law Linda Brackstone (Ritchie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
