He was predeceased by: his spouse Salome Martin (Horst); his parents, Clayton Martin and Lucinda Martin; his siblings, Ornan Martin and Elma Bauman; his brother-in-law Elmer Horst; and also, Eileen Martin and Bruce Bauman.
He is survived by: his children, Esther Brubacher, Joseph Brubacher of Wallenstein, Lucille Martin, Mervin Martin of Listowel, Elverne, Grace of West Montrose, Earl, Fern of Elora, Bruce, RuthAnn of West Montrose, Anne, Larry Wideman of Clifford, Linda Wideman and Leroy Wideman of Drayton; and his sibling Aleda Horst. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren.
