She was predeceased by: her father George Wilson; her father-in-law Ken Laidlaw; and her brother-in-law Robert Laidlaw. She is survived by: her spouse Doug Laidlaw; her children, Andrew (Sandra Archer), Melissa Bijman (Thomas) and Ryan; her grandchildren, Brooklyn and Autumn; her parent Irene Wilson; her sibling Barb Buchanan (Lyle); her parent-in-law Vivien Laidlaw; and her siblings-in-law, Sandra Wesselink (Ben), Don Laidlaw (Linda), Karen Laidlaw, Jerry Laidlaw (Barb), Rosemary Galloway (Jim Brubaker) and Kevin Laidlaw (Anna). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
