She was predeceased by: her daughter Donna; her parents, Andrew Chapman and Lilian Chapman (Norton); and her siblings, Gladys White (Jim) and Bill Chapman (Muriel).

She is survived by: her children, Richard Hiusser, Valerie Ropp (Doug) and Jean Van Der (Clarence); her grandchildren, Jennifer Ohm (Perry), Matthew Ropp (Carla), Courtney Werth (Kyle), Devin Van Der (Brittany) and Andrew Van Der (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Jill, Carrson, Maddy, Claire, Carter, Melina, Kolby, Madison (Ben), Myra and Alyce; and her great great grandchild Olivia.
