He is survived by: his wife Sandra Heimpel; his children, David Heimpel (Chris), Leisa McBride (Tom), Susan Schnarr (Brian) and Robert Heimpel (Kim); his grandchildren, Brett, Leigh-anne, Kaitlynn, Colin, Courtney, Kara, Kurtis, Scott, Logan, Tyler, Kody, Skyler, Emily and Troy; his great grandchildren, Cayden, Daisy, Reuben, Sebastian, Owen, Mayson and Elliott; his sister Joyce Statia; and his nieces and nephews, Kim (Bob), Michelle, Kevin (Kathy) and Kendra (Steve).
