With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ed Struyk (Listowel, Ontario), who passed away on August 31, 2018 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mien Bakker, Riet Schenk and Bert Struyk; and his sons-in-law, David Hamsma, Jerry Beyer and Jim Greydanus.
He is survived by: his spouse Trude Struyk (Schilstra); his children, Wanda, Frank Rozendal of Clinton, Arnold Struyk, Tammy Culp of Listowel, Emily, Graham Somerville of Listowel, Shirley, Ray Boonstra of Palmerston, Hilary, Stephanie Struyk of Listowel, Patricia Beyer, Herman Scholten of Listowel, Arlene, Brian Binkley of Drew, Melissa, Chris Stege of Listowel, Linda and Dan Pearson of Atwood; his siblings, Peter, Henny Struyk of Dunnville, Ada Struyk of Cochrane, Harry, Madeline Struyk of Brantford, Con Struyk of Cambridge, Henry, Grace Struyk of Dunnville, Pearl, Albert Postma of St. George, Bill Struyk and Sandy Struyk of Troy; and his siblings-in-law, Effie Struyk of Gorrie and Tom Schenk of Georgetown. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
