He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma Harper; his children, Ronald and Patricia; his sister Edith Turner; and his son-in-law Walter Evans.

He is survived by: his close friend Beverley Harper (Smith); his daughter Debbie Evans of Quesnel, B. C.; his grandchildren, Robert Evans of Edmonton, AB., Patricia, Heath Turcotte and Andrew Harper (Will) of Quesnel, B. C.; his great grandchildren, Braiden Evans of Whitehorse, Kaleb Evans of Chestermere, AB., Zachary Moller of Quesnel, B. C. and Dalton Evans of Kamloops; his sister Barbara Clark (Bill) of Dorset; his sister-in-law Donna Dempsey (Fred) of Newtonville; his sons, Brant Harper of Listowel and Graham Harper (Heather) of Orillia; his grandchild Hayden; his siblings, Lloyd Smith (Joyce) of Comox, B. C., Yvonne Dubois and Marilyn Bennett; and his cousins, Nancilee Clausius of London, Archie Gilbert of London and June Smith of London. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
