She was predeceased by: her husband Wilson Staples; her parents, Walter Magill and Mamie Magill; her brothers, Gilbert Magill (Shirley Harris) and Edward Magill; her brother-in-law Ray Staples (Marion Wright); and her great grandchild Liam Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth (Jane), Linda and Patsy (Garry Bacon); her grandchildren, Andrew Staples, Katherine Peel (Doug), Lauren Smith, Marcus Churcher (Lindsay), Chantel Power (Connor), Gregory, Scott and Joshua Bacon; her great grandchildren, Emily, Carson Peel, Lily Smith, Julia, Jocelyn Churcher, Ciara and Fionn Power; her friend Eleanor Danilko; and her brother-in-law Glen Staples (Margaret).
