Velma Stuart Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Stuart (Lindsay, Ontario), who passed away on September 25, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse John Stuart; her parents, William Parker and Ethel Parker; and her brothers, Gordon Parker and William Parker.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Coons (Doug Devitt), Sandra Brinklow (Dale), Janet Stuart (Danny Barr), Heather Stuart and Marielaine Mackie (Jim); her grandchildren, Andrew Coons (Lucy), Emily Mackie (Matt), Cianna Hancock (Ryan), Dani Stuart and Amber Petherick; her great grandchildren, Robyn Coons and Carter Coons; and her siblings, Lloyd Parker (Verna) and Wilbert Parker.

If desired, a memorial donation to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services – Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
