With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Marion Vandeloo (Lindsay, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Vandeloo; her parents, Arthur Holloway and Daisy Holloway; her sister Joyce Holloway; and her children, John Vandeloo, Leonard Vandeloo, Pauline Vandeloo and Joyce-Ann Vandeloo.
She is survived by: her children, Marian Johnston (Frank), Deborah Shadbolt (late Paul), Philip Vandeloo and David Vandeloo (Tina); her grandchildren, Erin Tilley (Robert), Jerrett Johnston, Victor Shadbolt (Kate), Vincent Shadbolt (Lily), Daniel Vandeloo (Jennifer), Katie Vandeloo (Adam), Christopher (Jessie) and Matthew Vandeloo; and her great grandchildren, Tristan Tilley, Theo Tilley, James Shadbolt and Miles Shadbolt.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (31 Russell St E, Lindsay, ON K9V2A4).
If desired, a memorial donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, which would be appreciated by the family.
