He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Christine and Arley. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Donna Lyford, Nancy Lyford (Donny), Norine Blyth (Mike), Steve Lyford and Ron Lyford (Shannah); his grandchildren, Jason (Sarah), Amanda (Anthony), Katie (Darryl), Danielle (Joe), Jeremy (Anna) and Taylor (Brodie); his great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Tristan, Aidan, Briar, Ozzie, Kian, Declan, Emerson, Ariya, Braxton and Zayne; and his siblings, Martha, Kay, June and Ross. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Kawartha Lakes which would be appreciated by the family.
