He was predeceased by: his parents, John Garland and May Garland; and his brothers, John (Carole) and George. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his siblings, Frank, Rose (Alfonso), Dennis, Basil (Corinne) and Patricia (Philip); and his cousins, Janice, Dennis Gibson, Cec, Lynn Mumford, John and Laurie Crowley. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
