He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Ellis and Patricia Ellis; his stepmother Audrey Ellis; and his brother John Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Carol Couperthwaite; his stepchildren, Danielle Morley (Mark Pintar) of Ottawa and Charles Morley of Vancouver; his children, Alexander Ellis of Milton and Jennifer Ormston (Jessie) of Austin, TX.; and his granddaughter Emily Ormston. He is also survived by nephews, as well as many friends.
