He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Julia; and his brother Allan. He is survived by: his girlfriend Norma Leonard; his children, Cory Altelaar and Chris Leonard; and his siblings, Patricia, Gordon (Christina), Robert, Karen (late Art) and Suzanne. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
