It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Patrick Ronald Laird Jay (Lindsay, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 83, on October 17, 2024. Though Patrick may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Patrick touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his wife Gwyneth Jay; his sons, Michael (Barb) and Steve (Cathy); his grandchildren, Cale, Dawson, Liam and Meghan; his sister Barbara; his nephew Correna (Curtis); and his cousin Caroline.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre (19 Moose Rd, Lindsay, ON K9V0A2).
