He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart Chase and Monica Chase; and his brother John. He is survived by: his children, Heather (Warren Michael), Bradley, Maretta (Lee Hulse-Smith) and Ellen (Monte Storey); his grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph Michael, Katlin Chase, Miles, Kepler Smith Chase, Addison and Benson Storey; his siblings, Gordon Chase and Sharon Blanchard; and his sibling-in-law Don Blanchard.
