He was predeceased by: his child Jill Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Debra; his children, Paul Waddell (Christine Ng) and David Sealy; his grandchildren, Sarah, Jennifer, William, Graham, Dean, Payton, Chyane and Kaya; his great grandchild Tyler; and his sister Linda Smith (Richard).

Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association in memory of Jim would be greatly appreciated by the family and may be made online or at the funeral home.
