With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Floyd Gerald Shorts (Lindsay, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Floyd left this world on February 8, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Carole Shorts; and also, Hazel (Charlie), Bill, Owen and Anna (Dennis).

He is survived by: his children, Lisa (John McLeod), Lorry (Melinda Shorts) and Darren (Alex Ronco-Shorts); his grandchildren, Lesley (Peter), Amanda (Cory), Mark (Hailey), Ryland (Rebecca), Alyssa (Michaela) and Cole (Bree); and his siblings, Edward (Marg), Elmer (Wendy), Dale (Barb) and Clifford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Stoddart Funeral Home (24 Mill St, Lindsay, ON K9V2L1). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.

If desired, a memorial donation can be made to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters or the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights, which would be appreciate by the family.
