He was predeceased by: his siblings, Geraldine Brillinger and Bruce Sibley; and his pet Harley. He is survived by: his wife Jean Sibley; his sons, David Wray Sibley and Sam Waldron (Doug); his grandchildren, Tyler Gouveia (Jenna), Brandon Gouveia (Jess), Zac Gouveia (Chihiro), Miya Waldron (Derek) and Dexter Sibley; and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Owen and Baby Leonard.
