He was predeceased by: his siblings, Hope Begley (Jack), Mac Algar (Lynn), Bette Hutcheson (Dennis), Walter Algar, Madeline Porter (Ray), Shirley Algar, Jack Algar, Pat Godding (Gary) and Barbara Jane Algar; and his brother-in-law Pat Hogan.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hogan; his children, Chris Algar, Cathy Algar, Madeline "Bunny" Deegan and Ted Algar; his daughters-in-law, Janice Algar and Marlene Algar; his sisters-in-law, Doris Algar and Rose Mary (Don Quibell); his grandchildren, Shannon (Adam), Jessica (Ryan), Chad (Amanda), Shawn (Lyndsey), Jena-Lyn (Neil), Kristen and Cayley (Kai); and his great grandchildren, Callie, Lexie, Kellen, Wesley, Lucy, Spencer and Myles.
