David Charles Lucas Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2025, David Charles Lucas (Lindsay, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mona Lucas; his parents, Jessie Lucas and Charles Lucas; his siblings, Mildred O'Neill (Fergus), Vera Morrissey (Dave), Rachel Oliver (Jim), Caroline Wylie (Bob), Dorothy Herlihey (Tom), Clement Lucas (Margaret), Austin Lucas and Noel Lucas; and his siblings-in-law, Léône Skipworth (Paul), Jeannine Butler (late John) and Trèva Cousineau (André). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Catholic Church (340 St Lukes Rd, Downeyville, ON K9V 4R5, Kawartha Lakes, ON K9V4R5).
In 1997, Dave's exceptional career as a professional hockey player and his lasting contributions to the sport were honored with his induction into the Lindsay Sports Hall of Fame.
