He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Douglas and Florence Douglas. He is survived by: his daughters, Alana and Erika Douglas; his brother Robert Douglas; and his mother-in-law Ann Gallacher (Edward Gallacher).

“i recently was told by another relative that they thought Brian had passed away. i decided to look this up to see if this was true and have now discovered that is unfortunately very true. It is truly sad that his spouse could not reach out to his extended family of first cousins ,some of whom live in Lindsay and many who are within a 40 minute drive. i will extend our deepest condolences to his daughters on behalf of the entire Maher family who always considered Brian ...family.”
