He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Whitney and Minnie Whitney; his former wife Madeline (Caine); his wife Earla (Fox); his stepson Lee Wilcox; and his siblings, Barbara J. Wild (late Bud), John Whitney and Robert Whitney (late Jean).

He is survived by: his children, Cathy Kiser (late Robert), Mary Whitney, Allan Whitney Jr. (Roberta) and Darryl Whitney (Victoria); his grandchildren, Aaron Kiser (Lisa), Neil Kiser (Lindsay), Sarah Anonichuk-Bedore, Melissa Gaskin (Ryan), Jason Whitney, Jeffery Whitney (Crystal), Benjamin Whitney and Olivia Whitney; his great grandchildren, Addyson Kiser, Skyla Gaskin, Owen Gaskin, Gage Whitney, Haisley Whitney, Kane Whitney, Emma Grundy and James Peacock; and his siblings, Margaret Brohm (Donald) and Charles Whitney (late Shirley).
