She was predeceased by: her spouse Lou; her parents, Tinus Marcus and Willemijntje Marcus; her siblings, Leo (Mary), Aris and Willie; her in-laws, Ale and Saapke Overwijk; and her brothers-in-law, Klaas and Jan (Berta).

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Jarvie (David), Marty (Barb), Wilma and Alex (Erin); her grandchildren, Alice (Tim), Valerie (Stephen), Christa, Samantha (Joseph), Adam (Ashley), Matthew (Mel), Grady and Cole; her siblings, Rina Eisinga (late Elzo) and Hugo Marcus (Charmine); and her sister-in-law Hillie (Jacoba). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, friends.
