He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Olive and Theresa Olive; his siblings, James (Bertha), Peter, Charles, Patrick, Harry and Harriette (Frederick); and his parents-in-law, Phillippe and Aline Laviolette.

He is survived by: his wife Paulette; his children, Monique Fortin (Frederick), Barbara Olive and Edward Olive (Angel); his grandchildren, Andrew (Mia), Melissa (Zach), Christopher, Alexander, Stephanie and Eric; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Lincoln and Veronica; and his sisters, Florence (late Roland) and Mary June (late Robert). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
