He was predeceased by: his parent Susanna Almasi; and his sister Margaret. He is survived by: his spouse Mary Ann; his children, Gary Almasi, Lisa Almasi and Jim Almasi; his grandchildren, Kieran and Kelsey; and his siblings, John (late Cindy) and Violet.

Memorial donations to Erie Shores Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
