“I'm without words. I didn't know Lora, just through the shoe store. I would go in & browse now & again. My mom was friends with Rosalinda many years ago. I barely recall being at the hair salon in the house...Lora & Sandra were very young_I'm only 5 yrs older. Lora always cheerfully asked me how Betty is...it was so unreal to see this. I was just thinking, recently, I should stop by the store...say 'hello' but nothing important to say & didn't need any footwear. I sincerely wish I had...my spirit is heavy with sorrow at the news of her death. My deepest sympathies...Lora was always friendly & inviting! My mom (Betty) is very saddened to hear of this. She told me some nice memories [tonight] of Lora at the house when she'd visit for a haircut or tea. She lived next door to Rosalinda for a few years.”
