She was predeceased by: her parent Gottlob Halbgewachs; her siblings, Robert Halbgewachs, Mary Simpson (Doug), Dorothy Haggith (Archie) and Freda McKinnell (William); and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Cunningham (Alan) and Marion Hunter (John).

She is survived by: her parent Emma Halbgewachs; her children, Jane Buckrell (Lorne), Mary Tiessen (Ron) and Miles Buckrell (Brenda); her grandchildren, Darren (Maylin), Matthew (Grace), Emma, Steven and Bridget; her great grandchild Christopher; and her siblings, John Halbgewachs (Lois), David Halbgewachs (Ethel) and Barbara Osborne.
