It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Carey of Lansdowne, Ontario, who passed away on January 22, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Carey and Irene Carey (Eves). He is survived by: his wife Irene Carey (Laporte); his children, John Carey (Sandy), Kim Coultes (Paul), Debbie Coultes (Jason) and Wendy Schleger (Andrew); and his sisters, Anita King and Judith Cox (Rod). He is also survived by 10 loving grandchildren.

Due to the COVID restrictions, please call the Funeral Home at 613-659-2127 if you would like to attend the Visitation and/or the Mass as there is a limit to how many people can be in the facilities at a time. Everyone must wear a mask indoors.

In memory of Bob, donations to the Lansdowne Agricultural Society or St. Joseph's Breakfast Club would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

“Irene, I am so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing recently. Although I have know Bob for only a short time compared to most residents of Lansdowne, I immediately could tell he was a kind, generous and caring man. I was glad to be a part of the St. Joseph’s Breakfast Club, and enjoyed seeing and chatting with him at the St. Patrick’s dinners of celebration. As a widow living on my own, I very much appreciated a phone call from Bob every once-in-awhile, just to see how I was doing. He will be missed.”
