She was predeceased by: her husband John Earl Gipson; her daughter Norma Jean Gipson; her parents, Thomas Wills and Gladys Wills (Sly); and her siblings, Inez Mundell, Edith Day and Laurence Wills.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Hayes (Frank), Alice Burns (Gary) and Jack Gipson (Marlene); and her brother Evan Wills. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
