He was predeceased by: his parents, James McCready and Miriam McCready; his siblings, Frances (Edward), Rupert (Thelma), Alexander (Grace), Floyd (Eunice) and Thomas (Eva); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Webster and Herbert Bullock.

He is survived by: his wife Maxine; his children, Janice Pollard (Steven), David McCready (Carolyn Harding) and Carolyn McGuire (Bruce); and his sister Beatrice Webster.
