She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Hill and Elizabeth Hill (Libbie Summers); her husband Billy Newell of Ireland; and her siblings, Eric, Oliver (Pearl Leakey), Arnold and Ruby.

She is survived by: her daughter Amy.
