He is survived by: his wife Katharina Bueckert (Hiebert); his children, Peter, Suzanna and Benjamin; his parents, Isaac Bueckert and Elizabeth Bueckert (Goertzen); and his siblings, Peter, Isaac, Gerhard, Johan, Suzanna, Aganetha, Agatha and Sara. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
