He was predeceased by: his wife Arlie Closs (Graham); his parents, Arthur Closs and Mina Closs (Wilson); and his brother Carl (Laurie). He is survived by: his children, Lisa (Lyndon) and Dion (Laurie); his grandchildren, Brianna, Sierra and Mikayla; his great grandchild Beau; and his siblings, Pat (late Theo), Clarence (Joyce) and Kenny (Cornelia). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private service will be held for his family.
