He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Watt (Geary) and James Watt; his former wife Mary Watt; his daughter Lorie; his stepmother Mary Watt; and his sisters, Mazie North and Olive Watt.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Erwin; his sons, Glen and David; his grandchildren, Glen, Eric, Marlee, MaryAnne, Dayna and Grant; his great grandchildren, Griffin, Charlotte, Lenora, Charlie, Sophie and Aiden; and his stepsisters, Edith Williton, Loreen Hall and Carrie Snyder. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews family and friends.
