She was predeceased by: her husband J. Arthur Mather; her parents, Dougall Stewart and Ethel Stewart; and her siblings, Walter Stewart, Gord Stewart (Janis), John Stewart (late Gaile), Mary Horne (late Ken), George "Gordie" Gordon Stewart, Sally Schmeizle and Brenda Kennedy.

She is survived by: her children, L. Darlene Mather (Victor Massari), Bev Mather-Dunn (Larry) and Gloria MacDonell (late Kevin); her grandchildren, Matthew (Erin), Melissa, Sarah, Allan, Nicholas and Micheala; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Belle, Daimion, Maddysen, Marshall and Charlie; and her siblings, Sheila Wallace (late Wayne) and Sandy Stewart (Glenna). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In honour of Gladys, memorial contribution the Alzheimer's Society of Lanark, Leeds & Grenville would be appreciated.
