It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Muir (Lanark, Ontario), born in Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario, who passed away on January 17, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Webster Muir; her siblings, Doreen Carr, Donna Joyce Crate, Margaret Drinkwater and James Drinkwater of Miami; and her parents, Anna "Daisy" Louise Elizabeth and Percy Samuel Drinkwater.

She is survived by: her children, Ann Darou (Jim) of Perth, Susan Stansel (late Paul) of Smiths Falls, Lori, Linda Muir of Smiths Falls and Allan Muir (Lyndie) of Panama; her sister Eileen Norma Reid (late Don) of Orillia; her grandsons, Steven Darou, Shawn and Andrew Stansel; her nephews, Douglas Reid (Linda) of Calgary, David Reid of Orillia, George Carr (late Elaine) of Nebraska, Greg Carr of Dallas and William J. Crate (Stacey) of Mississauga; her niece Diane Hull (Steve) of Smiths Falls; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Christopher, Matthew Reid, Jonathan Hull (Cynthia), Douglas Carr, Kimberley Van Zeyl (Chris), Emily Crate (Scott Brittain), Amanda Carr and Dawn Reid.

Donations in memory of Betty may be made to the Jehovah's Witnesses.
