He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel McGonegal (Moss) and Lester McGonegal; his brothers, Cecil, John, Kenneth and Carl; and his siblings-in-law, Bryan Somerville, Marjorie Williams (Gordon) and Brenda Murray (John).
He is survived by: his girlfriend Linda Somerville; his children, Michael, Stephanie, Scott and Lisa; his grandchildren, Hunter, Braydon, Cherish, Liam and Kamdyn; his siblings, Charlotte "Sally" (late Garnet Brown) and Calvin McGonegal (Joy); his siblings-in-law, Sharon McGonegal, Penny McGonegal, Joyce Moss, Pam Somerville (late Allan) and Gordon Williams (Pat); and his cousins, Eldon Moss (Sharon) and Gary McGonegal (Linda).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lanark & District Civitan Hall.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Perth/Lanark Minor Hockey Association would be appreciated by the family.
