He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton Chesher and Gloria Chesher (Hap); his sister Carol Slade; his wife Kathy; his children, Jeff Chesher (Sheila), Jennifer Chesher and Julie Davis (John); and his stepdaughters, Melanie Hendren (Dennis) and Colleen Massey (Rick).

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Olivia, Spencer, Hillary, Mitchell and Kaylee; and his great grandchildren, Bria and Addyson. He is also survived by his cousins and many friends.
