He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Wingett and Cecil Wingett; his brothers, Len and Ray; his stepgrandson Vaughn Brazeau; and his great grandchild Charli Greystock.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Northey); his grandchildren, Victoria Greystock (Jeremy), Cody Stark, Luke Wingett (Torie), Jake Wingett (Rochelle), Chantal Hayman and Tyler Wingett; and his sister-in-law Carol Wingett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hendren Funeral Homes - Lakefield Chapel (66 Queen St, Lakefield, ON K0L2H0). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Lakefield Cemetery (1262 Buckhorn Rd, Harcourt, ON K0L2H0).
