With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Arthur Torrie (Lakefield, Ontario), who passed away on July 23, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Fred, Bruce, Tui and Elinore. He is survived by: his wife Amelia; his daughters, Catherine Ellis (Matthew) and Julia Quinette (Frédéric); and his grandchildren, Sophie, Alexander, Eloïse and Adélaïde. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Trinity United Church – Bobcaygeon or the Ross Memorial Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
