He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Thompson and Mima Thompson; his siblings, Marjorie Ferguson (Russell), Dora Veals (Ivan), Hazel Vansickle (Percy), Albert "Bert" (Margaret), Ernie (Vivian) and Arnold (Monica); and his brother-in-law Fred White.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta; and his children, Heather Thompson and Bill Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hendren Funeral Homes - Lakefield Chapel (66 Queen St, Lakefield, ON K0L2H0). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Peterborough Free Methodist Church (450 Lansdowne St E, Peterborough, ON K9L2A1).
